FLASH CARDS FOR WINDOWS a STUDY AID/MEMORY DRILL TOOL With a question set for the Novell 3.1x Administrator C.N.E. test Flash Cards for Windows is a memory drill program based on the concept of the old 3" x 5" flash cards. It was created by the author as he prepared for tests leading to his Novell Certified NetWare Engineer status. The program and the question set for the Novell 3.1x Administrator test are provided as Shareware for evaluation by users. Users who continue to use the products past the 30-day evaluation period are requested to register the products with the developers, Startext Computing Services Ltd., accessible on the Internet as 74045.1733@compuserve.com. The present zip file contains the following files: FLASH.EXE - the executable file FLASH.WRI - the user manual (Windows Write format) VBRUN100.DLL - the Visual Basic runtime file QEVBDBF.VBX - the Pioneer Software Q+E Database/VB extensions runtime file (both runtime files are legitimately provided in accordance with the author's licences from their suppliers) NW508.DBF - the full question set for the Novell 3.1x Administrator test ORDERCDN.WRI - the order file for shareware registration and ordering additional question sets (for orders shipped to Canada only) ORDER.WRI - the order form for orders shipped outside of Canada README.TXT - this readme file. After the contents of the file are extracted (C:\FLASH might be a reasonable directory to extract the files into), create an icon to run it in an appropriate program group, with the File New Item command in Program Manager. Refer to the documentation (FLASH.WRI) for details as to how the program works. Feel free to pass on the FLASHS.ZIP file to colleagues. You will find the NW508.DBF database included with this file. It is the complete database for the NetWare 3.1x Administration test. If you find it useful, you can order databases for many other tests from Startext - see the order form ORDER.WRI, (or ORDERCDN.WRI) for details. The version of Flash Cards for Windows that is distributed with this zip file is not capable of creating new databases. However, when you register the products, a copy of the authoring version of the program will be sent to you. Good luck with your tests!
